No 1 - Open Source.....

James said that: "One of the big things we will see in AI in 2024 is more of a shift towards open-sourced innovation.

We have already seen some of that emerging in 2023, after Meta released their open source software for training their reverse-engineered version of ChatGPT, LLaMa.

Once that entered the open source community, we saw a degree of technical innovation that was almost more impressive than Chat GPT itself.

The focus in 2024 will shift from proprietary large language models to what can be done in the open source community, which is much more flexible, can be fine-tuned to your particular use case, and can be deployed in secure or sensitive environments".
