On Thursday 6th February, Naimuri’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Power Group are holding an informal lunchtime drop-in chat for Time to Talk Day - the nation’s biggest mental health conversation, where friends, families, communities and workplaces can come together to talk, listen, and change lives.
Naimuri already has a strong commitment to the mental health of our employees, with Mental Health First Aiders on hand, and regular wellbeing events.
Mental health issues can affect us all. Family issues, work pressures, finances, traffic jams, and keeping up to date with the news (to name but a few), can all drag us down. Things like quality time with family and friends, regular exercise, time outside in nature, religious activities, holidays, theatre trips, festivals, gigs, and taking part in a favourite hobby, can help give our mental health a boost.
We are hoping that our lunchtime chat will provide an opportunity for employees to take part in a frank discussion about the issues that are affecting their mental health, and the strategies they have taken to improve it.
