A Day in the Life of a Naimuri Software Engineer

What attracted you to come and work at Naimuri?
Culture.

How did you find the recruitment process?

Briefly describe what you do day-to-day?
I lead a team producing new features for one of our major programs. Additionally I am involved in the innovation work where we bring customer ideas to life and showcase the art of the possible in days.

What interested you in a career in technology?
Working in software enables me to solve problems at many scales from code snippets up to large complex questions, which I find incredibly engaging.

What areas of technology are you most passionate about?
I typically work across many technologies so it's often what is new, powerful and potentially under utilised. At the moment I'm particularly interested in applying graphs to our customers’ data problems.

What are the top skills you need to do your role?
1. Curiosity. Innovation happens when someone asks 'What if?'.
By being curious you'll gain more unique experiences, experiment more and ultimately be better at solving tricky problems.

2. Ability to listen. Truly listening to what your team and customers have to say enables you to get to the core of any matter and that's where you can really make a difference.
